About Our Attorneys
D. Joleen Frederick
Ms. Frederick has served clients of eastern Kentucky in her private practice for thirty-four years in many areas of practice and has practiced in most counties in eastern Kentucky. Ms. Frederick is well known in the area for her experience and success in family law; however, she practices in the areas of property law, wills, probate, and estate planning, and contract law as well.
Ms. Frederick is a graduate of Transylvania University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Humanities Education with a minor in Music. Ms. Frederick is also a graduate of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Ms. Frederick served as a Staff Clerk for the United States House of Representatives Committee on House Administration, and also the House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor. During her tenure working for these committees Ms. Frederick performed legislative research, engaged directly with committee members in legislation development, and participated in legislation drafting and speech writing for committee members.
Ms. Frederick has also served as the Fayette County Circuit Criminal Staff Attorney, serving during the years of 1987 and 1988. During her service, she served under six Fayette Circuit Judges, and performed legal research as well as legal drafting, and performed other administrative tasks for the Judges of the Court.
Ms. Frederick has also served as Morgan County Attorney for four years, and also as assistant Morgan County Attorney for five years prior to her service as County Attorney.
Ms. Frederick serves as West Liberty City Attorney, and has served in this position since 1999.
Ms. Frederick also serves as General Counsel for Mountain Telephone, and has served in this position since 1996.
Ms. Frederick is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and also in the District of Columbia. Ms. Frederick has been licensed to practice law since 1985.
Daniel Frederick
Mr. Frederick has served clients from Morgan County, Elliott County, Menifee County, Bath County, Rowan County, Johnson County, Magoffin County, Johnson County, Floyd County, Greenup County, Floyd County, and Fayette County.
Mr. Frederick began practicing law in 2016. Mr. Frederick practices in the areas of personal injury law, property law, family law, contract law and criminal law.
Mr. Frederick has successfully represented many clients in obtaining sizeable settlements for personal injury claims resulting from car accidents and other injuries caused by negligence.
Mr. Frederick is a graduate of Morehead State University, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy with a Minor in Music. At Morehead State he attended with a full academic Governors Scholarship. Mr. Frederick is also a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate.
Mr. Frederick is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and also in United States District Court of the Eastern District of Kentucky.
